Another plane goes missing that took off from Indonesia. According to air traffic controllers, the pilot asked to change course due to bad weather. The jet was pronounced lost after 42 minutes with 162 people on board. The jets destination was to Singapore. The jet was found off the radar, and they think it may be somewhere in the Java Sea. Indonesian officials have found pieces of debris and other rubbage in the sea. They have divers searching the sea for the black box that was located in the jet, its sequence control. Divers haven't found anything more yet, but they are continuing to look. | I feel that it is really horrible what has happened to this jet. Not only are there 162 people missing, but their families are probably feeling lost too. I hope they find this plane and get much justice for the families of the passengers and crew members of the plane. This is sad because its yet another plane that suddenly went of the radar. What if it was a hijacking? What if something bad really did happen on that jet and no one will ever know because it has crashed somewhere? What if they never find the plane? What if these families never get justice for their lost loved ones? Its essential to find this jet so families, friends, co-workers, and everyone that had someone they knew that was on the jet can get closure. It will be hard thing to get through, and I know people are hurting, but everyone will have to make it out the storm. Celebrate lives instead of mourning over them. Justice and closure will come. |
Experts say that teenagers need about 9 hours of sleep every night. Studies have found that a small percent between 13 and 15% of teenagers actually get 9 hours of sleep on a regular basis. It is shown that not getting enough sleep as a teenager is not good for your grades, health, athletics, how you look, and how you feel. Dr. Dhani Jones thinks that all the light in the dark may actually be making teenagers loose sleep. Before electrically and gas powered lights people used to work according to the sun, so when the sun went down the work day was pretty much over with. But now that there is a thing called the light bulb now, it keeps everyone up at night. You would think that this would help get more work done, since people can work around the clock, but studies have shown that artificial light can disrupt with something called the circadian cycle. Another issue is phones. This is the biggest thing keeping people up at night in this time of life. If you don't get enough sleep you can become drowsy, not pay attention, and may not be able to perform as well as if you had all 9 hours of sleep. I rarely get 9 hours of sleep on a regular basis. The most hours i get may be 6 or 7 which is really bad. I think sleep is a very essential thing to help you do and perform your best everyday. Sleep is needed and everyone should try and set aside time to sleep and reset your body. It can be really damaging to not get enough sleep especially as a growing teenager. Sleep is important and don't think that it isn't. You need to be re-power your body and rest your brain. Sleep is the best thing ever and every needs it. If you want to stay on top of your game, get some shut eye! |
